Privacy Notice

Last updated: 7 April 2026

This is a short, honest description of what happens with your information when you use this site. We've written it in plain English because that's what we'd want to read.

What we collect

One thing: your email address. That's it. We collect it when you sign up through one of the newsletter forms on the site.

We don't ask for your name, location, phone number, or anything else. If you don't sign up, we don't collect anything from you.

Why we collect it

To send you emails. Specifically:

That's the full list. We don't sell your email address, share it with other companies for marketing, or use it for anything else.

Who processes your information

Three services handle your email address between the signup form and your inbox:

Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We chose them because they're established, well-known tools, but we'd encourage you to review their own policies if you'd like the full picture.

Affiliate links

Some links on this site and in the newsletter are affiliate links. That means if you click through and buy something, we may earn a small commission. This doesn't cost you anything extra.

We disclose this on the site. When you click an affiliate link, you leave our site and land on a third-party site with its own privacy policy and tracking practices. We have no control over what those sites do.

How to unsubscribe

Every email we send has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click, you're off the list.

You can also email hello@geekswhomeditate.com and ask us to remove you. We'll do it.

Your rights

If you're in the EU, UK, or Switzerland, data protection rules (including the GDPR) give you specific rights over your personal data. These include the right to:

Kit (our email platform) is configured with GDPR settings for subscribers in these regions.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@geekswhomeditate.com and we'll sort it out.

Cookies

We don't run any analytics on this site right now, which means no analytics cookies.

Our hosting provider (Netlify) may set minimal technical cookies to keep things running. We don't set any cookies ourselves -- no localStorage, no sessionStorage, no tracking scripts.

Changes to this notice

If we change what we do with your information, we'll update this page and change the date at the top. For anything major, we'd mention it in the newsletter too.

Contact

If you have any questions about this notice or your data, email hello@geekswhomeditate.com.

This notice describes what we actually do with your information. If you have specific questions about data protection in your jurisdiction, we'd suggest consulting a qualified professional.
